Have you Followed the Can?!

Canned foods are a BIG DEAL to Food Share and the people we serve. Canned foods stay fresh for many months and even years; they help us to provide more variety in what we offer to our agency and pantry partners, plus, donated cans mean that we don’t have to buy so much food on the expensive open market. The importance of every single can that’s donated via a food drive is the subject of a recent video that follows the journey of a can from a kitchen cupboard through our facility, out to a pantry, and finally to a stovetop of a family in need. It was a lot of fun to make and it’s a lot of fun to watch.

Inscription Guidelines

Your personalized message can be engraved with the character limit shown for each paver size, including blank spaces. A character is any letter, number, symbol or punctuation mark found on a standard English keyboard. All text will automatically be center justified and engraved in UPPERCASE letters. Messages containing websites, phone numbers, social media handles, emojis and/or manifestos are not permitted. Discriminatory, political, offensive or unsuitable messages as determined by Food Share Ventura County will be declined. Food Share reserves the right to decline inscriptions for any reason. Should your inscription require revision, you will be contacted for assistance in submitting an alternative inscription.
