Volunteer Matches

Many companies offer volunteer grants, often called “Dollars for Doers,” which provide a financial match for the hours you spend volunteering with Food Share of Ventura County. Organizations like Bank of America, for example, allow employees to earn grants of up to $1,000 per year by logging their volunteer time. Because Food Share can provide multiple meals for every $1 donated, a match for just a few hours of sorting, packing, or distributing food can significantly amplify your impact on neighbors facing food insecurity across Ventura County.

To participate, use the search tool above to see if your employer turns your volunteer hours into a monetary donation.
