Yes. Many supporters choose to recognize a loved one, celebrate a milestone, honor a family member, or commemorate a special occasion through a personalized paver.

Pavers may be personalized with names, dates, messages of appreciation, memorial tributes, or dedications. All inscriptions are subject to the Inscription Guidelines and will be reviewed and approved by Food Share to ensure they align with the organization’s standards.

Your personalized message can be engraved with the character limit shown for each paver size. A character is any letter, number, symbol or punctuation mark found on a standard English keyboard. Blank spaces count as characters. All text will automatically be center justified and engraved in UPPERCASE letters in the same font.

Messages containing websites, phone numbers, social media handles, emojis and/or manifestos are not permitted. Discriminatory, political, offensive or unsuitable messages as determined by Food Share Ventura County will be declined. Food Share reserves the right to decline inscriptions for any reason. Should your inscription require revision, you will be contacted for assistance in submitting an alternative inscription.

The number of characters depends on the paver size selected:

• Small: 6” x 12” Paver: 3 lines, up to 24 characters per line
• Medium: 12” x 12” Paver: 4 lines, up to 24 characters per line
• Large: 12” x 24” Paver: 5 lines, up to 24 characters per line

Yes. Businesses, organizations, foundations and community groups are welcome to purchase pavers and may include their name in the engraving.

No, we can only accept characters.

No. Pavers will be installed in accordance with the overall site design and construction plan. Specific placement requests cannot be accommodated.

Pavers will be installed as part of the construction of Food Share’s new facility. Purchasers will receive an update as installations are finalized.

Changes may be made until the engraving order is finalized. Once production begins, inscriptions cannot be altered. We encourage donors to carefully review all text before submission.

If an error occurs during the engraving process that differs from the approved proof, Food Share will work with the manufacturer to correct it.

The intent is for all pavers to remain a permanent part of the new facility. However, Food Share reserves the right to relocate pavers if future construction, repairs, or site improvements require modifications.

Thank you for your support! Donations made to Food Share’s operating fund support our ongoing hunger-relief programs and cannot be applied towards the paver program. Personalized pavers are available through gifts made specifically to the Feeding Our Future Capital Campaign, which funds the construction of our new facility.
