One million meals. One month. One community working together.

March to a Million Meals is designed to raise approximately $330,000 to help Food Share provide one million meals for Ventura County families, seniors, and farmworkers.

With $10 helping provide 30 meals, every contribution adds up quickly. This campaign makes it easy to participate, track progress, and see the collective impact of our community in action.

What is March to a Million Meals?

A month-long fundraising challenge to provide one million meals for Ventura County neighbors.

Is this complicated to run?

Not at all. Register a team, set a goal, and encourage participation. Food Share provides the tools, tracking, and weekly prompts.

Do we have to compete?

No. Competition is optional. Some teams love the leaderboard, others focus purely on participation and impact.

How much time does this take?

As much or as little as you want. Some teams run one internal giving day. Others add fun challenges over the month.

Can businesses participate?

Yes. Companies can form teams, engage employees, and amplify impact through matching gift programs.

Can we double our impact?

Many employers offer matching gifts that multiply meals raised.

Inscription Guidelines

Your personalized message can be engraved with the character limit shown for each paver size, including blank spaces. A character is any letter, number, symbol or punctuation mark found on a standard English keyboard. All text will automatically be center justified and engraved in UPPERCASE letters. Messages containing websites, phone numbers, social media handles, emojis and/or manifestos are not permitted. Discriminatory, political, offensive or unsuitable messages as determined by Food Share Ventura County will be declined. Food Share reserves the right to decline inscriptions for any reason. Should your inscription require revision, you will be contacted for assistance in submitting an alternative inscription.
