Faith In Action

Many faiths.

One shared calling.

We can make a greater impact working together than on our own.

We are asking our faith communities to unite in our collective responsibility of love and service to help support the 254,000 neighbors in Ventura County who are food insecure.

“It doesn’t matter what your faith is. There’s a basic tenet about taking care of people who need our help that is core, no matter what your faith.”
Mark Lisagor | Food Share Volunteer, Donor & Co-Chair of the Capital Campaign Committee

Building a Future Without Hunger

Demand for food assistance has tripled since 2019, and Food Share’s current facilities have reached capacity. The Feeding Our Future capital project will build a new 85,000-square-foot food bank, designed to serve the community for generations to come.

“Feeding Our Future is how we love our neighbors in a lasting way. It’s how compassion today becomes capacity for tomorrow.
Join us. Your gift is an act of faith in action.”

Bring Food Share to Your Congregation

Let’s Work Together to Feed our Neighbors

Food Share would be honored to visit your congregation to share more about hunger in Ventura County, the impact of our work, and ways your faith community can make a difference through volunteering, food drives, donations, and the Feeding Our Future Capital Campaign.

Whether during a worship service, mission gathering, small group, or community event, our team would welcome the opportunity to connect with your congregation and explore how we can serve our neighbors together.
