DONATING STOCK

One of the most efficient and tax beneficial ways to make an impactful gift to Food Share is to make a gift of stock. If you or your broker would like the stock transfer instructions, please contact Jennifer Caldwell, Chief Development Officer at (805) 983-7100 x129 or via email at jcaldwell@foodshare.com

The donor or transferring broker must provide the following information for audit and acknowledgment purposes:

  • Donor’s name and complete address
  • Name and number of securities transferred
  • Specific Food Bank program to which gift should be directed (if any)

Inscription Guidelines

Your personalized message can be engraved with the character limit shown for each paver size, including blank spaces. A character is any letter, number, symbol or punctuation mark found on a standard English keyboard. All text will automatically be center justified and engraved in UPPERCASE letters. Messages containing websites, phone numbers, social media handles, emojis and/or manifestos are not permitted. Discriminatory, political, offensive or unsuitable messages as determined by Food Share Ventura County will be declined. Food Share reserves the right to decline inscriptions for any reason. Should your inscription require revision, you will be contacted for assistance in submitting an alternative inscription.
