Stock Donations

When you transfer ownership of a long-term holding of stock or other securities to Food Share, you receive a charitable deduction at full market value and you incur no capital gains tax. Please contact Jennifer Caldwell at jcaldwell@foodshare.com.

Donor Advised Funds

A Donor Advised Fund (DAF) is a centralized vehicle for charitable giving that makes it easy for donors to dedicate funds to support their favorite nonprofit organization.

Inscription Guidelines

Your personalized message can be engraved with the character limit shown for each paver size, including blank spaces. A character is any letter, number, symbol or punctuation mark found on a standard English keyboard. All text will automatically be center justified and engraved in UPPERCASE letters. Messages containing websites, phone numbers, social media handles, emojis and/or manifestos are not permitted. Discriminatory, political, offensive or unsuitable messages as determined by Food Share Ventura County will be declined. Food Share reserves the right to decline inscriptions for any reason. Should your inscription require revision, you will be contacted for assistance in submitting an alternative inscription.
